Low Poly M60

Last night I had a bit of free time so I decided to model an M60 machine gun with a sort of low poly look. This gun could easily be used in a video game as it is only around 630 tris.

Texture Atlas Assignment

In my modeling class we have been learning about textures and unwraps (a review for me). But last class for homework we were given a texture atlas and told to build something that used the texture. Here is the texture and my product.

Climbing Character Video

My next assignment for my animation class was with the character tool. We learned how to make body parts stick where they are with “set keys” or “sliding keys” so this assignment was to make use of those. I chose to have my character climb a cube and shake his hands off once he was up there. See for yourself!

GRA 212 1st animation

It has been almost a month since I posted last but I am all settled back at school and I am ready to share what I have been working on. Most of my classes this semester are all very closely related to game design so there will be a lot of relevant stuff coming very soon. As for now, here is a render of my 1st ever college animation assignment. The prompt was to create a 100 frame animation that give 2 objects life and have them interact.

Farmhouse

The modeling for this new mobile game is starting to wind down a little, which means the game will be done pretty soon! I’ve been working on environment assets in the couple of days so here is a farmhouse that will litter the ground and surrounding.
